This coffee is shop is not playing games. Well technically, I guess it is. Either way, they offer an all around fun cup of coffee. The Uncommons is a coffee shop in NYC that has hundreds of board games that can be rented and played!
They have a menu of specialty drinks that are all sure to be delicious. I already know I am going to have to go back to give some more of them a try!
The first thing that caught my eye was the endless list of syrups. As a huge fan of banana bread, I decided to try the banana nut bread latte. Every sip was reminiscent of a slice of warm homemade banana bread. It was sweet and delicious. A great choice for dessert!
The only thing I would change about my experience at The Uncommons is I would definitely get a reservation. When I arrived there at 9pm on a Wednesday, every single table was taken. On their website, it says that they regularly have wait times of 1-2 hours and reach capacity on all holidays, weekends, and many weeknights. If you are looking to stay and play, a reservation is definitely a must!
I look forward to going back to The Uncommons! There is so much more to try and so many games to play!
